Coan Teacher Scholarship
The Coan Teacher Scholarship will be awarded annually to students who have attended Danville Area Community College and are transferring to obtain a 4 year degree to become a certified teacher. The Terry and Marla Hill Scholarship was established by the Hill Family. The Hill family has had 5 generations of college professors, teachers, coaches and administrators. Marla was principal at Danville High School and Terry was a Hall of Fame track and cross country coach at DACC. He was also the Athletic Director at Danville HS. He currently is a Trustee at DACC. Women's Care Clinic
The Women's Care Clinic Scholarship is established to assist Bridges Program participants. First preference is to help participants needing assistance paying GED testing fees. If testing fees are being paid by other sources, the scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed their GED certificate and are continuing their education at DACC. Preference will be given to students that graduated from the Bridges Program or whose parent graduated from the Bridges Program.
